My last day at home. Tomorrow, i will be going back to my NS camp before 5pm. Sighed. Such saddening news. Then, it might be a long time before i will have any access to internet. Today, i'll be blogging about the pitiful condition of my dorm's toilets/sinks/bathrooms.

Every dorm have their own place of toilets/sinks/bathrooms. In my opinion, the worst is most probably my dorm's. Want to know why? Well, you see, most of these facilities are unusable. Firstly, its the toilets. We have about six toilets. The first and the second are the sitting kind. I don't know about the first as i have never used it. The second's button for flushing is very loose. One will have to press it several times according to your luck just to get it to flush. Hmm, the third toilet is my favourite. Its almost perfect except for the fact that you have to jump to your left before flushing as somehow water will splash out towards the right side (at first, it was fine but somewhere recently, someone broke the toilet). The fourth is jammed from the beginning ( i learnt it the hard way...UGH!! It was a terrible experience) while the fifth and sixth were rumoured to be jammed as well. So, in all my times in NS, i will only use the third toilet.

Next is about the sinks. Again, we have six sinks. The first, second and third sink have leaks either at the tap or at the pipe. Only, the fourth, fifth and sixth are considered perfect except for the fact that the water flows very slow. After that is the bathrooms. we have 6 bathrooms. My camp seemed to like the number 6 a lot. Did you noticed that we have SIX toilets, SIX sinks and SIX bathrooms? We also have SIX designed areas for washing clothes.

Back to the bathrooms, there are three important aspects to evaluate. Number one is about the latch. Number two is about the hook to hang the clothings. Number three is about the water flow. The first bathroom is perfect in most ways but it doesn't have a latch. One can't lock the door in the first bathroom. The second bathroom is the best, my favourite as it has a latch, a place to hang your cloth and a perfect water flow. The third is almost perfect. It has a latch and a place to hang clothes. Well, the problem is that water from the fourth, fifth and sixth bathroom will flow into the third bathroom. In other words, if the last three bathroom are occupied and you are in the third bathroom, you will have to bear with the massive water flow from other 3 bathrooms. Goodness know what is the content of those water. The last three bathrooms have latch and acceptable water flow but they do not have any hooks to hang one's clothes. For me, i'll only use the first and second bathroom. I certainly can't stand having other people's bath water with me or without any hooks to hang my clothes. It would be troublesome. The absence of a latch is acceptable as my dorm had devised an unspoken law which is no one is to open the door of the first bathroom if its close. One can only enter the first bathroom if the door is wide open.
